How I and my Oloris jumped down from our story-building palace to escape death from attackers from Isinigbo- Oba Ajagun Ode

Recently, there was a land dispute among the communities of Ode and Isinigbo, both situated along Ado-Ekiti Road in the Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.

In the heat of the dispute there was a breakdown down of law and order—some lives were reportedly lost, houses vandalised in the disputed areas while the Palace of the Ajagunode of Ode, Oba Adewale Boboye was raised down.

Speaking with pains from exile with Babatunde Bamigboye (Omo Edema), the Ajagunode said he and his two Oloris (wives) jumped down from the window of his story-building palace in the midnight to escape death in the hands of the attackers from Isinigbo.  The two legs of one of the Oloris broke and she has been on wheelchair while the Oba remains on crutches since the incident.

According to Oba Adewale Boboye, the matter had started since 2009 immediately he was installed as the traditional ruler of the ancient community…

What really happened???

The Asinigbo of Isinigbo has also spoken.
