In a statement signed and made available to newsmen by its Public Relations Officer, Ag DCP Jimoh Moshood, the Force said it is a must for applicants to have passion for a career in the Nigeria Police Force


Nigeria Police opens recruitment portal today

The Nigeria Police Force has opened its recruitment portal, inviting applications from suitably qualified Nigerians to be enlisted into the Force as police constables (recruits).

In a statement signed and made available to newsmen by its Public Relations Officer, Ag DCP Jimoh Moshood, the Force said it is a must for applicants to have passion for a career in the Nigeria Police Force.


The statement read in part:
“Applicants must have passion for a career in the Nigeria Police Force and must satisfy the following general requirements:
1. Nationality: Be a Nigerian citizen by birth and possess national identity number (NIN).
2. Age: Must not be less than 18 years of age or more than 25 years of age.
3. Education: Must have O’ level certificate at least five (5) credits level passes including Mathematics and English language in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
4. Character: Must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence.
5. Height: Must not be less than 1.67 metres in height for men and 1.64 metres for women.
6. Chest Management: Must not have less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (for men only).”


Moshood said the applicant must not have abnormalities or deformities of any kind.


He said all applications must be submitted online at www.policerecruitment.ng
